Walrus Club

The Walrus club was an organization/art club formed of workers and patrons in all the arts, Gustave Moeller (1881-1931) is attributed as the founder and later president of the club. Origianlly the Walrus Club was said to have been a men's sketch club but was best known for its social aspect in the community; annual dances/balls were organized and attended by its members.
1947,4-27 Milw. Journal - WP&S 34th Annual Exh. Jury Rejected artists exhibited their works at the Walrus Club.
