Biographical Brief

Milwaukee native, professional portrait painter who strove to stimulate art appreciation and patronage in the Milwaukee Area.
Education: Beloit College, Western Reserve University of the Cleveland School of Art.
1963: solo exhibition, Fairview office building lobby for which she had done a large painting for their collection.
Instructor of art and head of the Design Department, University of Missouri.
Former Extension Director, Milwaukee Art Institute.
Founder and first President of the Suburban Art committee and extension director of the Milwaukee Art Institute and later known as the Friend's of Art of the Milwaukee Art Center.
1962: received the Friend's of Art award.
A founder of Milwaukee Art Museum's Fine Arts Society which supports its European collection and also of the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design (MIAD)
