Biographical Brief

Went to University of Wisconsin, Madison and completed under-graduate work at University of Illinois receiving Bachelor of Science Degree in Architectural Engineering. As a sophomore in high school, he received his first architectural experience as an apprentice for Thomas Stevens Van Alyea followed by several years part-time employment for the late Hugo C. Haeuser. He returned to Milwaukee following graduation from the University of Illinois and worked for A. H. Sierwert and Brust & Brust prior to opening his own office in September 1955. Has completed five churches. Received honorable mention award from the Church Architectural Guild for St. Edmund's Episcopal Church. Awarded Francis J. Plym Fellowship from the University of Illinois for six months travel in Europe, returning to Milwaukee in September 1958.
