Occasionally we display exhibitions secured from external sources, but the majority
of exhibitions shown at the Museum of Wisconsin Art are curated and organized by museum
staff. Currently, we exhibit 6-7 exhibitions annually in our main temporary exhibition
galleries and increasingly these exhibitions feature contemporary Wisconsin artists
in small to medium sized group shows. We also showcase the work of ten contemporary
Wisconsin artists in small, one month solo exhibitions as part of our One from Wisconsin
series.
Anyone wishing to submit an exhibition proposal for a temporary exhibition or our
One from Wisconsin exhibition opportunity should be sent to Graeme Reid, Assistant
Director at the museum. Any applications should include a cover letter, resumes
and statements by the artists involved and slides or a CD with relevant images.
Currently, the museum’s schedule is filled through 2013.
