Join us as African-American arts advocate Della Wells discusses her recent City of Milwaukee’s Artist of the Year award. In her work, Wells touches on her personal experiences with race, religion, gender, and the fragility of emotional health.

Spend an intimate morning with art historian Debra Brehmer as she shares the story of her winding path to becoming the owner of the Portrait Society Gallery. Brehmer will relate stories of forged relationships with some of Wisconsin’s most well-known artists.
