16th Annual An Evening of Wine and Roses presented by The Business Journal Serving Greater Milwaukee.

An elegant evening of wine tasting—and the perfect event to celebrate this year’s Valentine’s Day. Relish the opportunity to enjoy a sampling of rare and limited reserve wines from 5-7 PM. Vintners have reserved their finest wines through a wide variety of distributors who will explain the unique characteristics and complex tones and variables that distinguish an outstanding wine from an average one. These liquid delights will be paired with a spread of sumptuous edibles—making this truly an evening to titillate your taste buds!

The Wine and Roses auction and raffle have the perfect mix of items including fine art, collector’s wines, and unique packages for bidding on the voice auction. This is the Valentine’s weekend event for couples and friends to enjoy together. All proceeds from this event help to support the mission of the Museum of Wisconsin Art, to collect, conserve, document and exhibit Wisconsin art and to promote Wisconsin artists.

Back by popular demand, Early Bird Ticket purchasers will receive:

    Valet Parking
The first 50 ticket purchasers will receive a voucher for valet parking. No need to walk from your parking spot—simply drive up to the front of the Museum and we’ll take it from there. If you want this luxury service be sure to purchase early!

Based on feedback from last year’s participant feedback, Marr’s Bar will be back for 2012 for guests who look for more than just a ‘taste’ of their favorite wine.

This year we will also have expanded raffle items— try your luck to win some unique prizes!

This year’s event committee includes Mo Josten, Michael Schilling, Jeff Szukalski and Barb Pfeifer-Woog.
